Kolob Trisolaris is the celestial system that contains Kolob Celestial. The three suns of Trisolaris are deliberately modeled on the Latter‑day Saint theological idea of three degrees of glory — Celestial, Terrestrial, and Telestial — and are used symbolically to stage themes of worthiness, progression, and divergent destinies.

• Each sun maps loosely to one of the three degrees of glory:
  • The brightest sun (Kolob Celestial) represents the Celestial — union, exaltation, and the highest culmination of the soul’s journey.
